Some people just can't seem to think of anything sensible to talk about when they see someone similiar after a short hiatus or usually at a place that they don't expect them to see.
Like for example ....if u go to the movies and unexedly stumble onto a freind. He/she looks at u ...probably raises an eyebrow and then asks ...."Hey....how're u? come to watch the movie?"---Oh for God's sake ...of course i've come to watch the movie....i haven't come here to have a sun-bath have I?
People have experienced these dumb questions many times in their lives and only wen someone points out to them (like i've done here hehe) the 'Dumbness Factor' of these questions - do they stop and think...." yeah.....that was a rather dumb question man!"
In fact many....including myself, even might've asked the same kinda questions not quite knowing how dumb they'd been. But until and unless the other person (the poor recepient of such questions) really realizes the dumbness of our queries....we don't have a problem do we?
Here are some classic situations in which u might've experienced such questions:
situation #1->U've just returned from a trip/holiday back to ur place ...and the friendly neighbour pops his head and asks with a smile "Hey...so u'r back?"......Hell yeah i am back...
and try giving this answer back and wait for the reaction on his face . ans-> "Nah! It's my ghost standing here wondering why i should not haunt u for the rest of ur life!". lol.
situation #2-> U're holding ur son/daughter's hand at a school parent-teacher meeting and ur friend comes up (who obviously hasnt ever seen ur kid ) and asks "Hey man! That your kid?"
reply-> "Umm no actually i'm into illegal child trade ....this one's just one of the bunch." .
situation #3->U're at the stadium watching a game of soccer,hockey or any other sport that u've bought the tickets for....and an ol' neighbour or a friend comes up only to ask "Dude! Come to watch the game eh?!"
ur answer shud be -> "Actually i am trying to sell illegal drugs here to my customers....wud u like some marijuana?"
And the list goes on..and on...and on.
Be sure to give one the above mentioned answers and wait for their face reaction to change. I promise u ...it'll be funny!
So the next time u meet someone u know at some place that u know what he's doin at....then please dont ask the 'Dumb questions'!
